How much should a 15 year old, a freshman in high school.. spend on her bf or gf for Valentines Day?
The reason I am asking is because I have heard other girls talking and say they give out 200.00 gift certifcates to their bf’s to go spend on whatever they wanted to go get hunting gear..or fishing gear..and the boys give out 3 dozen roses to their gf’s..I think that is going overboard..and I think a girls should be old enough to truly appreciate the meaning of getting roses from a young man ..maybe I am way too old..What kind of parent encourages this?..To me its like a competition among the parents to see who gives the most expensive gift ..I think they have lost the prospective of Valentines Day..I dont know maybe I am wrong but what do you all think?
