For Spring bass fishing, which should I buy first: a deep crankin setup or one for shallow-mid/lipless cranks?
Don’t know which to buy first. I will be fishing tournaments for my high school, and I haven’t done much spring bass fishing. I mostly fishfor bass in the summer. Our tournaments are mostly in April. I already have a spinnerbait setup, a jig and pig/plastic wormin’ setup, and a finesse setup.
Thanks.
I’m fishing throughout Illinois.
For Spring, I would completely SCRAP the crankbait idea and go for topwater lures and frogs.
