What should I buy a Van Staal or a Penn?
My cousin just got me a sick custom saltwater fishing rod with my name and an Auburn logo on it. My uncle persuaded my mom into giving him $500 to buy me a Van Staal and he would pay the rest. Should I buy the Van Staal or buy a 2-3 hundred dollar Penn?
It sounds like someone else is going to be buying the rod for you, so I would just go with whatever I get… They are both good brands.
