i have a 14ft aluminum fishing boat what size motor can it handle?
it is a 14 foot v-hull aluminum and has a 4.5 ft beam. what size outbourd could i put on it to possibly go tubing and such without spliting the hull or damaging my boat?
the boat is used and about 10 years old. only thing on it besides the registration stickers is on the back it says fishmaster. havent seen a boat like this at bass pro shops but on the enternet cant find it either
Probably the most you can get away with at the most is a 25 horsepower engine, thats what mine is and i had the same type of boat, you should try looking up information on it just to be sure. And with a 14 ft. aluminum boat, you probably should be doing all teh sporting stuff off the back. Its mainly a fishing/transportation boat.
