How does this tank set-up sound?
I am planning on getting either a red crowntail betta or a regular male red betta for my 10 gallon community tank for Christmas or a gift from Santa. I don’t know how he is going to bring it down the chimney. LOL. I was thinking if anyone has any suggestions how I can make my betta fish stand out. I have a black background that would help let is stanf out. Is there any other things I could do to make him happy? He is my centerpiece in there.
Just for any other reasons that you need what fish I already have in there: 3 Neon Tetras, 3 Cories and 3 Cherry Barb.

If I had a room for a 5 gallon tank, I wouls have bought one for just the betta. The problem is I don’t have any room for it or for anything else. This would be my last fish for now. Unless things go great for like 6 months and then maybe 1 more fish.
that will be fine, but no more.
you will learn that less is better, and your tank is going to be way overstocked if you get anything else other than the betta.
