Mediocre Betta Fish Breeding setup?
Gonna start breeding bettas again. any ideas for a set up (tanks, brine shrimp hatcheries, etc.)? i’m looking for something along the lines of cool and organized and not ‘fish version of cat lady’.
3 places i can have my set up-
side yard- 100% shaded (between two houses and under a huge tree). its gonna be during the summer in AZ where it gets up to 110degrees. which probably wont work.
Garage- not A/Ced but still hot.(wont need heaters in tanks?) probably easiest work space +electricity.
Living room- my mom would kill me, and this is only if the garage fails
I have 1-2 racks to put the tanks on. want to use plastic tubs as growout tanks. have four 10g’s with filters i can use. i need to know what to do with them, where to set up my system. and any other setup help would be great
Putting them outside probably isn’t a good idea, a number of animals could run into the tank, another person, a branch from the tree falling on them, ect.
Betta prefer 78-80F and I’m sure that temp could go higher, I think you should just make sure that the garage isn’t too hot for them.
