What rod should I put my Extreme reel on?

I just bought a Bass Pro Extreme baitcasting reel. I mainly fish worms but also want a rod that can work good with jerkbaits/ topwater. I would like a rod in the 6’6″ to 7′ range and under $80. I like the Abu Garcia vendettas, any thought on that rod? Also I am intrested in the St. Croix Triumph

The Shimano Clarus has a lifetime warranty. An eighty-dollar rod with a lifetime warranty is almost unheard of. Other than the Clarus, the Triumph would be nice. I don’t like foam grips so the Vendetta isn’t my thing..
