I know a different thing you could do. I used a bait called “Crappie Nibbles” and they supposedly work good for Bluegill, Bass, & Crappie. I tried one little piece of it and caught a Sunfish right away. These are almost as good as worms. My sister & her boyfriend has been using them and has caught lots of Bluegill & Red-ear.
