St. Croix Tidemaster Spinning Rod 8′,Medium Heavy Fast, TIS80MHF

$169.89

Ancient pictographs have not weathered the test of time as well as one would hope, thus scholars are unclear whether they depict a bareheaded angler working the tidal waters or not. One thing is certain – if there was a time when fishermen took to their boats without this headgear, it was a dark time indeed. Much like the days before Tidemaster® rods. It’s hard to imagine a world without these st…

which spinning reel from daiwa for surf is worth buying?

I need to buy some really high end reel to make myself happy.which rod should go with that.I have so many reels n rods but they just cant get broken cos I sort of a maintenance freak, everyday after fishing I will strip n clean the reel.So use to that its like 30minutes the most.which is better, high end but a bit decent/appropriate just more than usual.

I’d switch off to Shimano either baitcaster or spinning for the surf. I have two big spinning reels I bought from bass pro shops, bought the ugly stick 13 & 15ft from cabelas.com Funny how one always seems to have a better price on one part of my combos.

I think a lot of the Penn reels are over-rated and $$$. Never put much into daiwa except for freshwater baitcasting…don’t like their freshwater spinning reels.

Good luck …
