I love animals, have a wildlife garden and didn’t mind a few fish getting eaten but the bas***d has had over 150 all told!!!
Your right about the decoys they rarely work. But stop and calm down. Please go read my post to your other question about the netting. It is the only way to go. You have to install the netting properly. I have personally installed netting on a multitude of ponds and it can be done in a way that works and does not look bad. There is one additional benefit to the net they keep debris like leaves out of the pond.
