Are there any ponds to take children fishing where you pay ? Near Dallas?
There are some pay as you fish ponds out on Larsen Road east of Dallas.I don’t know much about those as I fish in the no-pay ponds and lakes. There is also a pay to fish fishing dock somewhere on Lake Ray Hubbard and the fishing is supposed to be pretty good.
However, White Rock Lake is free as are all city ponds and lakes. Mesquite, where I live, for instance has at least three city owned ponds that are free to fish in and you don’t have to be a resident. There is also Samuel Farm on Hwy 80 off the Belt Line exit.
