minnesota walleye lakes?
Im looking for a smaller Minnesota walleye lake this year. I know about the more popular lakes like Mille Lacs and Leech. No, Im looking for more out of the way, smaller walleye lakes that i can use a small boat or canoe and do some real outdoor walleye fishing, I already know about the BWCA, so not there…Any suggestions? PS. Im not looking for anyones honey hole. Just some suggestions Thanks a lot
There exist hundreds of fishing lakes in MN that are decent for Walleye, but most of these see so much pressure you would be lucky to catch them. The Chisago Lakes area can be alright.
My suggestion would be to look more to the rivers and streams for your out of the way excursion. These areas often receive less fishing pressure. These areas are also great for scenery and sometimes have some excellent free campsites.
Hey, Ole fisherman, you are giving away my spots.
