Fireline, PowerPro, or Spiderwire Stealth?
After my last question I got a Abu Garcia Revo S, and I’m looking for a line that will be able to horse big fish around, here in Wisconsin, muskie fishing is very popular, and hooking into a big fish can be the difference between getting the fish of a lifetime, and having the one that got away. I’ve been shopping for braid, since I fish for smallies, largemouth, northerns, and of course, muskies. I’ve used braid once or twice before, and I wanna make sure I don’t ever lose that fish of a lifetime because of cheap line. Since here in wisconsin we can use baby gills and perch for bait as long as their counted against your bag limit, we usually hook into monster northerns and muskies, which means I also may need braid for my spinning gear as well. The question is, should I get 30lb or 50lb braid, and, should I get PowerPro, Spiderwire Stealth, or Fireline?
Son n’ law be a guide outta’ Northern California and uses it with Salmon (Chinook/King) ~ swears by it <);-3
