Yes, if you don’t get too excited and have a very flexible rod and work the fish. I read about a man who caught a 80 pound cat on 8 pound test but he was very patient and had a 9 foot fly rod very flexible and worked the fish until it tired. be sure the drag i sset very light also. however if the fish gets into brush or trees you have lost it.
